First created in 1980 by Tricia Kaye and David Lee in the San Francisco Bay Area while the two were touring with the Oakland Ballet. As for sizing. Too many reviews below recommend sizing up two sizes to what you normally wear. This works for people who are on the larger size since we are cut small in comparison to Big Box or large Chain stores. However if you are a Zero to 6 ordering a size up than normal only applies to you are tall or have broad shoulders. This shrug is meant to be crisp & snug, while still allowing freedom of movement. Ordering larger will lessen that look. Please check our size chart above for more info. In general if you are in amazing shape its best to order your size.
